Its the first publication to showcase the latest paintings of Ying Lin-Sill, an extraordinaire artist born in Beijing/China. Ying studied and lived in Antwerp/Belgium before she moved to Mainz/Germany in the year 2009.

Looking at the everyday life, which at a closer look isn’t so daily at all, Ying Lin-Sill creates the concrete place, defines it “against the lost” and intends with her graphical ideas the realization of an ambitious new form of consciousness. — "Rememberer": Without staged-aesthetical settings, from the invisible Shangri-La to the visible Mainz, from objected painting to illuminated paintings, to hinted motives, to dissolved forms,finally to pure coloristic atmosphere – an arc of suspense in artistically access, from which the depictions draw upon yours iconographical power. — A special feature, Synopisis, shows her paintings dealing with Holocaust and the disaster happened to Malaysia Airlines’ flight MH370.

Dies ist die erste Veröffentlichung zum Werk der in Peking/China geborenen Künstlerin Ying Lin-Sill, die nach langen Jahren in Antwerpen/Belgien, seit dem Jahr 2009 in Mainz/Deutschland lebt.

Das reale Mainz macht sie zum Thema im Abgleich mit sagenhaften Shangri-La. — In der Hinwendung zum Alltäglichen, das beim näheren Betrachten gar nicht so alltäglich ist, beschwört Ying Lin-Sill den konkreten Ort, macht ihn für uns fest ›wider die Verlorenheit‹ und intendiert mit ihren Bildideen seine erneute Bewusstwerdung — ›Rememberer‹ in anspruchsvoller Form: ohne inszeniert-ästhetische Kulissen, vom unsichtbaren Shangri-La zum sichtbaren Mainz, von gegenstandsnaher Malerei hin zur Lichtmalerei, zu Andeutungen, zu Formauflösungen, schließlich zur Farbatmosphäre pur – ein Spannungsbogen im künstlerischen Zugriff, aus dem die Darstellungen ihre tiefe ikonographische Kraft beziehen. —
